WHAT: We wanted to provide a mission trip in a more urban setting this year, so will be traveling to Kansas City to participate in a Youth Works Mission Trip.
In Kansas City, MO, your group will serve with local organizations to improve life for community members. Serve residents of all ages through tutoring, assisting with reading programs, maintaining community gardens, and assisting at local community kitchens. In the evenings, engage with long term friends of YouthWorks who will share more about the neighborhoods we serve. Experience the sites and history of the city through a scavenger hunt and time on your own to enjoy local attractions and some great BBQ!
During the week, students may serve all or part of the week at a food shelf, clothing distribution center, soup kitchen, children’s program, or elderly care facilities.

WHO: This mission trip is open to ALL area high school youth. We are tentatively registered to take 25 students.
HOW can you sign up?: Complete and return the attached registration form, along with a $50 deposit by September 15th

- $100 fee ($50 at time of registration, $50 at a later date)
- Participation in all group fundraisers
- Pizza Sale (winter)
- Steak Fry (spring)
- Stock Sales
- Attendance and participation in all pre-trip workshops.
